I want to take this time to thank you for all your support and use of technology. Technology is a moving target. This can be stressful as we are constantly changing devices, operating systems, software versions, apps, subscription services... Many people thrive with change but many do not. Thank you for your continued flexibility as we continue to move forward with technology in Wayland.




Subscription Survey: As mentioned at staff, please take a few minutes to complete the 2015-16 Subscription Services Survey. Your input will help us to allocate our software budget appropriately. Thank you.




Classroom iPads - The techs have fixed the link/app to the HH website on your iPads. If you notice it not working, please be sure to close up any old tabs that went to Happy Hollow and try again. If this does not correct the please, please let me know.




Hallway Lab Countertops - Last week, the hallway lab counter along the library wall started to disconnect from the wall. Please ask your students to not sit or lean on this counter. Kevin was able to quickly come over and reconnect the countertop to the wall.

Teacher Laptops: Have you backed up your local files lately? Be sure that you are regularly backing up your desktop/local documents from your teacher laptop up to the server. If you need a refresher on how to do this - please check out this tutorial.

Tech Day: The November Tech Day is Thursday, November 12th. If you are interested in working together, please sign up via Doodle. We can use this time to work together 1-to-1 on topics of your choice OR I can come into your classroom and work with you and your class on a project.
