Hallway Lab: Thank you all for continuing to maintain the hallway lab ~ headphones not removed, and lab straightened up when done. Keep up the great work!
Extra Student Laptops: I have 5 silver student laptops that I can redistribute to a different classroom. If you are interested in having a few more laptops, please let me know.
iPass: The district has formed a K-12 committee to look for a new student information system(SIS). This new system would replace iPass. The committee will look at five programs. When they narrow it down to two programs, they will ask for a larger group to evaluate the choices.
Student Laptops: We are fortunate in Wayland to have access to an incredible amount of tools/devices. As such, we need to continuously evaluate how to sustain access to these tools. As discussed at many technology committees over the past few years, Chromebooks provide a budget friendly machine for many of the activities our students are performing. With that said, we should continue to explore the use of Chromebooks as that could replace our student macbooks during the next replacement cycle.

Technology PD Opportunities: Mark you calendars ~ Here are two upcoming technology conferences in early 2016. Medfield Day of Learning - February 5th ~ a free day of learning from colleagues in Medfield and beyond. I will share workshop information, when that becomes available. 2016 New England Google Summit in Burlington MA - weekend of March 12th and 13th. Workshop details have not yet been posted.
