Are you feeling the March craze? So many things going on pulling us in all directions. A few items to note this week. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you for all your support and use of technology.

iPads - Several reminders about iPads.

1. If students wish to use Lexia or Symphony math on iPads, they must use the appropriate apps. These programs will not run by launching Safari on the iPad. An error message will be displayed.

2. Students MUST exit Lexia and Symphony. Many students just switch to another app without exiting properly. We cannot ensure that their data will be saved without following the proper exit steps.

3. Lots of apps left open: Please close all apps when your class is finished using them. Leaving multiple apps running will drain the battery faster.

Lab Headphones: At the beginning of the year I had 10 headphones to loan out. I am down to 3 pairs. If you know you have headphones that don't belong in your classroom, please send them down to the computer lab for others to use.

PARCC: In preparation for PARCC, please make sure that you have a classroom set of working headphones. Please send out a reminder to families for those students who do not have working headphones.

TECH PD:

Coming this fall - Teacher Google Bootcamp Certification - More details will follow.
