REMINDER: The wireless network at HH will be down this afternoon at 3:15 PM for technology updates. Please plan accordingly.

Mirror Laptop Display: Here is a link to a google doc explaining (wish visuals) how to mirror your laptop with your projector. Remember this setting is set by user by machine. For example, only my machine has been setup to mirror with my account. If a different user logs into my laptop, they would need to set the mirroring settings for their account on my machine. If you need assistance, please let me know.

Innovation Summit: I am learning a lot about iPads, Chromebooks and Google Classroom at the Innovation Summit by EdTechTeacher. The conference has rejuvenated by goal in using the iPads as a creation tool not just for skills practice (which is great too). As you can image, I have a lot of information to process. I will share tips, tools, apps... with you in future posts.

Some thoughts to think about from today's keynote speaker Jaime Casap from Google - who spoke about preparing our kids for the future...that future is now.

How can technology bring good learning to life?
How can you bring education to the next level with technology?
Technology is part of everyone’s life - use that to your benefit.
Collaboration is how we solve problems. Leaders don’t assign jobs - they work collaboratively.
How to build digital leaders that know how to search, vet information, are safe online, and keep their information secure online?
Culture shift - Are we asking old education questions or new education questions? With quick assess to the internet, students can find facts quickly. Are we asking the questions that force students to synthesize information, or make conclusions?
