iPad Cart of 12 (Skills iPad Cart): I had Joe keep 12 of the best iPads that he removed from classrooms to create a small cart. This small cart is being called the Skills iPad Cart - hence it has mostly skills apps (Lexia, Symphony Math, SplashMath, Raz-Kids, Starfall...), plus a few other apps. I'd like this cart to be used when you only need a small number of iPads. This will leave the full iPad cart accessible for whole class use. I have outfitted each iPad with a headphone extender. Please make sure the extenders stay connected to the iPad and returned after each use.
With that said, starting next week - January 29th, if you only need a few iPads, please start taking them from the small cart in the computer lab. I have created a separate google calendar for sign-ups.
Osmo for iPad: The first grade has donated their 3 OSMO kits to the computer lab. There are now 13 sets of Osmos that can be borrowed for classroom use. This would allow you to pair students up for full class activities. Here is a refresher on a few of the Osmo features. Please let me know if you'd like assistance using Osmo in your classroom.
