Post #7 : Viewsonic, Wifi & Hotspot, Padlet,

ViewSonic: I'm excited to announce that the next round of ViewSonic installations will be happening in the coming week. Thank you for your patience - Deede, Lorraine, Trang, Timber, Amy, and Hannah!

In addition, Mary Barber, Wayland High School Tech Specialist, and Beth Monahan, WMS Tech Specialist created a self-paced Google Classroom to teach and guide you as you explore and learn about the Viewsonic.

I have invited anyone that has a panel or will be getting a panel. You can go to Google Classroom to see your invite or click on this link to join. I guarantee you will learn a few things as Mary and Beth did a fantastic job!

You will find information on the Chromebox, connecting and casting your MacBook to the Viewsonic and so much more.

The Viewsonic is an amazing tool and there is a lot to learn. I'm confident you will love teaching with this IFP.

**If you take the training, remember you can track your PDPs on the district ILP form. Maybe you already have started tracking PDP hours on the district form - now you can add more!**

Wifi & Hotspot
: The Tech Department is still working on solutions to our wifi issues. In the meantime, I have used a district hotspot to help get 4-5 students connected during technology class. It has been a lifesaver over the past week. If you would like to try the hotspot, just let me know. I can show you how to use it or you can follow these directions.

We have renewed our subscription to Padlet. Reminder - we only have enough accounts for Teachers. Students should NOT be creating Padlet accounts with their student Google accounts. If they do, they will be deleted. Here are the details regarding WPS Padlet Subscription

**Be sure to review the PRIVACY details on your Padlet. Now that we have a district account the default is to allow other staff to see your Padlets.**

***If you used Padlet last year, then you should still have access to last year's work.***
