Post #5 - Classic Sites, IFPs, iPad Update and Tech Committee

**Important Google Sites Update
- Beginning Monday, January 30th, the "Classic site" of Google Sites is going away
Existing classic sites will be converted to the new Google Sites format. You will need to review and ‘Publish’ your New Site. I have already reached out via email to a few of you who have used Google Sites in the past. But there could be others that have a site that I don't know about.

If you are no longer using a site, we ask that you remove/delete the site in an effort to free up space on our Google Drive. Otherwise, go ahead and publish your new site.

Here is a quick video explaining how to determine if you have a "classic" website.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Interactive Flat Panels (IFP) - You can now Print from the IFPs in your classroom. However, we can only add one printer per building. At HH, you can print to the outside guidance printer.

iPad Update
- Please remind students to handle their iPad with care. We do not have any spare iPads. We are waiting for some to be repaired. If a student's iPad should break, the student will need to use the teacher-assigned iPad.

Tech Committee - The Technology Committee met on Wednesday, January 11th. Our notes can be found here. Our next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, March 2nd. All are welcome to join our discussion.
