End-of-Year Tech - Here are the end-of-year technology clean-up directions. A couple of quick items to note:

  • device carts to the tech lab by 10:00 on Friday, June 20th
  • TAs - you can keep your device for the summer if you are returning in the fall

Please read over this document carefully and if you have any questions, please let me know. 

Changes to Google's Additional Services - In accordance with changes Google has made regarding the collection and use of student data, WPS is changing student permissions to additional services. Note these changes DO NOT affect teachers. Please see this document for more details. 

PowerSchool - For those interested in getting some PowerSchool PD in over the summer, please refer to the slideshow that I shared at the June staff meeting. This is completely optional. Face-to-face training will occur on one of the two staff days when we return in August. 

Suspicious Emails - Please remember: if you receive an unexpected or unsolicited email—particularly from an external source—always pause to question its legitimacy. If anything feels off, don't hesitate to contact the Technology Department (help@waylandps.org) so we can help evaluate its safety and validity.
