Post #1: Device Carts, Devices, IFPs, PS, Printers and Software Tools

Busy days are approaching, I'm going to do my best to...

Device Carts - All carts have been delivered. Devices are plugged in BUT the carts are not. Please be sure to charge your devices when you return next week. I'd also make sure the power button on the cart is on. The button could have been inadvertently switched off over the summer.

iPads/Chromebooks - I did not label the devices like in past years. I do have labels ready to use. I can have the kids put the labels on during our first tech class, or I can give you the labels. Either is fine with me, let me know your preference. 

*Your own labeling system is fine too!

IFPs and Doc Cameras - Please do your best to reconnect your document camera to your IFP. If you need assistance, I have set aside time on Wednesday morning for this. 

PowerSchool - Our training is scheduled for Tuesday, August 26th, from 12:00 - 1:00 in the gym. Please bring your laptops. This training is for Unit A members.

Printers - They should all be up and running. Please be mindful of what and where you print.  If you have any issues, please let me know.

Software Tools - It's been a super busy summer for Eva. But even with all of the PowerSchool work, she is on top of our software tools. I'm happy to share that the following curriculum subscriptions are ready to go: 

  • ClassLink - If you need a refresher on how to access and print QR cards, please see this video. (*Note - This video is old. Names are not correct but the steps are the same.) If you need further assistance, please let me know.
