Post #2: Lab Color Printer, and MacBook Neo

 

Lab Color Printer: As you may have noticed the lab color printer is not printing clearly. Joe has ordered a new part. For now, I have turned off the printer as not to waste the ink. I will let you know as soon as the printer is back up and running properly. Thank you for your flexibility.

MacBook Neo - Important Information from Joe about an update:

Beginning October 28th, the Technology Department will roll out a necessary security patch for all district staff MacOS devices.  The trigger is set to 6:00 PM.

To avoid any potential disruption to your workflow on the day of the automatic release, we highly recommend that you run this update manually at home at your earliest convenience. The update takes about 20 minutes.

How to update your device:

1. Open Settings (found on the far left of your dock).

2. Click on Software Update.

3. Follow the on-screen prompts.
   Note: The system will ask for your personal login password (the one you use to sign in to your computer each day), not an administrator password.

Important Deadline:

If you do not update manually, the update will automatically trigger starting at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, October 28th. The update will occur whenever your device next checks in with our management system (Mosyle) after that time.
